Camping Huerta Romero

The beach is wide and slopes gently into the water. Nearby, there are plenty of restaurants, bars, shops, and supermarkets. The campsite itself has lots of washrooms and toilets, all with piping hot water, and the staff were really friendly and helpful.

The reception lady today was lovely, very helpful, and fluent in English. The campsite has some nice plants and plenty of cute cats. It's in a small, cozy town. You might hear a little street noise, but it wasn't much.

We loved the garden feel created by all the plants and trees, and the pitches were roomy with good privacy. A gate opens straight onto the beach, where we enjoyed swimming and walking along the seafront. The site was peaceful and felt refreshingly untouristy, a great place to relax. Staff were so friendly and welcoming, the facilities stayed spotless, and there's a local supermarket with everything you need. The hills nearby are excellent for road cycling. Thank you!

We paid just €28 for the two of us, our car, and tent, which felt very reasonable. The beach is right there, and though it got a bit busy at the weekend, it wasn't too crowded. During the week it was perfect. We only stayed three nights, but would've happily stayed longer. The campsite felt cozy and much closer to nature than others we've been to, with plants everywhere. The supermarket stays open until midnight without a siesta break, and the bread was surprisingly good. We also enjoyed the restaurant, especially the beach view and friendly waitstaff. We even befriended a very cute cat. This has been my favorite campsite so far, and a week or more here would be ideal.
