6/10
The rooms were kept very clean, and the staff were friendly. The location is a real plus, with Reina Sofia park and the beach less than a 10 minute walk away, plus lots of lovely restaurants close by. Sleep was another matter. Noise carried inside and outside at night, from someone in the next room snoring extremely loudly to a trumpet being played in a room after midnight. Better soundproofing might help.

The staff are really friendly and helpful, and the bar staff were exceptional. The room had several maintenance problems: the shower room handrail was coming off the wall, half the bolt on the toilet door was missing, the toilet seat was loose, and the shower drain wasn’t secured to the base.

We’ve stayed twice this year and both times the service was excellent. Laura and Desire at reception deserve a special thanks, they were lovely. The hotel and cafeteria staff are friendly and helpful, and nothing seems too much trouble. It’s clean, has a relaxed feel, and the rooms are just right for what we paid. I’m not sure why it’s only rated 2 star. We’d definitely come back.

A lovely little hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast was good, and so were the tapas.

Clean and right in the centre of Guardamar, with everything close by. It’s handy for an early flight, and there’s a beautiful beach nearby. Real Spanish vibe.
