With the heat climbing during the August 2025 heat wave, reaching 37 degrees, there was no air conditioning or even a basic fan. We were told it wasn't needed because nights get cold. There was nowhere to get a drink, no machine, and no fridge in the room for supermarket drinks. At night there was no one at reception, and finding somewhere to eat was hard because it was Monday and places were closed for the week. The hotel looks attractive from outside, and otherwise covers travelers' basic needs. It was clean, the rooms and beds were clean, the gardens looked after, and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast cost a lot for what was offered, though we'd been warned. Because of a booking "misunderstanding" and no confirmation, it was charged separately.

I was only passing through town, but nobody answered the doorbell. When I called, they said they were closing until after Three Kings Day, even though the website showed them as open. Can't really give an opinion beyond that.

It was very quiet, and I'd recommend it for a night or two while passing through. Guardo's town center is only a few minutes' walk away. The rooms feel quite dated, but the place is welcoming and I slept well, despite the very thin pillows. Cleanliness was impeccable. The staff were attentive and friendly, always checking we were comfortable. You can get a hairdryer from reception if you need one. Breakfast can be ordered in advance, though we didn't have it.

The experience was really unpleasant. The hotel felt deserted, and we never saw any staff. Breakfast was awful for €10, with barely any choice or quantity. The cafeteria and restaurant don't serve lunch or dinner, and we couldn't find anywhere in town to eat either.

For what the place is supposed to offer, I thought it was expensive. We only booked the room. There was no fridge, the mattress wasn't comfortable, and the pillows were very thin. You have to ask for a hairdryer, since there isn't one in the bathroom.
