We booked five cabins for a family stay in August, and the mountain views from the pool were spectacular. The cabins were beautiful and cozy, and the location felt idyllic. Susana, the manager, and her father, Vicente, were both lovely and always willing to help make things pleasant. A few finishing touches were still pending because the complex had only just reopened, but Susana was working on them each day.

What we’ll remember most is how honestly and thoughtfully the owner handled the toiletry bag we left behind. She got in touch after we’d already started driving home, and when we explained that it held things with both sentimental and monetary value, she offered to send it and even brought it to us herself. It arrived just as we’d left it, with nothing missing. She’d also been patient when we realized we’d booked the wrong cabin for December 24-28, 2025, and let us switch without changing the price. We had a lovely few days in a comfortable, pleasant setting with wonderful views. We’re very grateful and would happily return. The scenery and peace are lovely, and the people running the cabins are genuinely wonderful. Thank you for everything.

The cabins sit right in nature, with birdsong all around, and we had a fantastic time over the May Day long weekend. They had everything we needed. I did wish there were a bit more furniture for setting our things down. We also couldn’t find the free Wi-Fi, though we didn’t really need it.

There are several trails close by for walks along the Genil River, and the location is just right if you want to get away from everything. We spent six days there in August 2025, and Susana, the new manager, did her best to make us comfortable. It felt like being at home, especially with the new mattresses and pillows. The resort has a pool and 18 wooden cabins in three sizes, with some looking toward the Canales reservoir. Thanks, Susana, for the hospitality. We hope to come back.
