The ocean view and location are lovely, but a few things really need attention. We booked an apartment advertised with a double bed in one room because we sleep with our baby, but ours had two rooms with single beds instead. It was hard to keep the place clean. The toilet had stains from the start, and water repeatedly sat in the kitchen sink. When we raised it with the landlady, she blamed us, though the ill-fitting strainer was probably the cause. The living room and kitchen light was greenish and made for an unpleasant atmosphere. The washing machine took ages, was too loud to run overnight, and left our clothes smelly and grayish. They said the apartment was child-friendly and provided a high chair and baby bed, but the low wall sockets were loose and not child-safe.

All in all, a really nice experience.

The ocean view from the balcony was lovely, and we could hear the sea from bed. The apartment is in a great spot in a quiet neighborhood, within walking distance of the center and Arieta's sandy beach. It was a nice surprise to find beer, water, fruit, and sweets waiting for us, and the Wi-Fi was handy. The plastic fitted sheet used as a mattress protector was less pleasant, so I took off one star. We enjoyed having a glass of wine while dining out and will definitely return. We visited in October 2019, when it was 25-27C with little wind. Mieke & Aad, Netherlands
