We stayed one night as a stopover, and it worked well for that. There's plenty of free parking outside, and it's a commercial area about a five-minute drive from town. The room was clean and did the job, the bed was fine and long enough for someone tall like me, and the air conditioning worked well. No fridge. It was a bit noisy, as you'd expect at this price, but not irritating. Breakfast was pretty budget but okay, and the staff were friendly. Good value for money. I'd stay again.

For an economy stay, it's a good place with everything you'd ask for. We knew before booking that it wasn't close to town, so that wasn't a complaint. There are plenty of vegetarian options, though the kitchen opens quite late and there are very few choices until then.

We came just for dinner and chose the menu semana at 22 euro. Each of the two main courses we picked cost an extra 7 euro, and we paid another 6 euro for a bottle of crianza rioja. The staff were very friendly and the service was good. Portions were more than enough, and the food tasted okay, nothing exceptional.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the bar was nice and reasonably priced for breakfast. The hotel itself is modern, but sits on an industrial estate outside haro, a 20-25 minute walk into town. Part of the route felt unsafe because you have to cross a roundabout. Rooms are small and basic, with far too few electrical outlets, so charging lots of gadgets could be a problem.

The maids kept slamming the doors of the rooms they were cleaning and making an incredible amount of noise. I couldn't get back to sleep. We asked them to stop, but they didn't. Take earplugs next time or stay somewhere else.
