Limehome Haro Calle de la Vega

The flat had everything I needed in Haro, and I especially liked having a washer-dryer and a big clothes rack. Getting into the lobby and room was easy. You're just steps from the town's best restaurants, and the Bodegas are a 15-minute walk or less.

Check-in was easy: Limehome texted us the apartment codes before we arrived. We booked a one-bedroom for two nights, and it was spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed, with an open-plan kitchen and living room, a cosy bedroom with lovely views, and a shower bathroom. It had all the amenities we needed, though there was no toaster, so we toasted bread in a frying pan, and the hairdryer only blew cold air. Street parking right outside is paid during the day, or there are a couple of free car parks a short walk away. The centrally located apartment made a fantastic base for exploring Haro, with restaurants, bars, and bodegas within walking distance. Despite those small quirks, we'd definitely recommend staying here when visiting the Rioja region.

DO NOT STAY HERE in summer. During a heatwave, the AC was completely broken and the room was unlivable. Staff ignored me for hours. They offered no solution, no refund, and no basic care. This place puts guests' health at risk. Absolutely unacceptable.

The room was huge and good value for money, and the location in Haro is cracking. It's easy to find on foot. Best to leave the car in the free car park at the bottom of the hill and walk up. There was just a slightly unpleasant smell from the bathroom drain.
