There was a room available even though other Albeegues were full during a weekend of festivals, which I was grateful for. This charming inn is close to the Camino de Santiago, and coming from Laredo, it felt like a radical change from staying at the Trinity Albergue. The 17th century setting was spectacular. There's a spa, and breakfast was wonderful, with homemade dishes. A small town nearby has other meal options.

We were there for just one night. The rooms were very clean, and the staff were friendly. Their daughter speaks very good English. The spa is basic but works fully. You can hear everything going on in the hotel since the walls aren't soundproofed. Breakfast was very good, with a huge selection.
