10/10
The room was huge, with a super king bed and a massive bathroom, impeccably tiled and shiny throughout. Toothbrushes and gels were provided. First impressions were of a solidly built hotel, with granite and marble floors and a hint of Art Deco, plus a wonderful curved main staircase. The TV felt a bit small for the room, and there was an annoying air conditioner noise from the internal well. I should have asked for a room at the front. Breakfast was continental, with toast as the only warm option, but I can't really complain. Parking was easy, and there was no traffic noise.

The food was good, and the restaurant was busy with locals, which is always a good sign. It's modest, clean 3 star accommodation. The air conditioning could have worked better, though the temperature was higher than usual.

Google Maps said the restaurant opened at 7pm, but when I arrived at 7.40 I was told 8pm. I waited 20 minutes until 8.05, then went to get a table and the waiter said the kitchen wouldn't open until 8.30.

A lovely room, a good breakfast, and elegant details and craftsmanship throughout. Probably the nicest hotel we've ever stayed at.

We visited in 2012 and 2013. The hotel is good, with large rooms, and rooms on the third floor have a balcony. Free wifi worked perfectly. The breakfast, though, was horrible.
