I stayed four nights in a campervan in June 2025 and loved the setting: mountain views, birdsong morning and evening, the river gurgling, farmers cutting hay, and falcons and storks overhead. It's a beautiful campsite with very good facilities, all to a high standard. My impression is that the restaurant and cabins are the main business, and camping comes second. A few small things need repair and regular attention, though everything works. I mean that in the best way, and really hope the campsite gets busier. This place is a slice of heaven and will reward you.

The only downside was the Wi-Fi, which had a very weak signal and didn't work. We were on holiday, so never mind. We stayed three nights on a ski trip, and everything else was fantastic: the location, the staff's attention, and the house. Our stone house was lovely and had everything we needed, including a fireplace and logs. When we asked for more, they gave us as much as we wanted. We'll definitely come back!

The friendly elderly owner proudly showed us the hedge maze he'd planted. We came in April before the season, and although the place was closed, the owners let us camp for one night. Camping was fine, with quiet mountain surroundings.

The food was really tasty and very affordable, and the owners and staff were friendly and helpful. The lodge rooms are super cool, with whirlpool tubs. We loved staying here and will definitely return. Highly recommend it.

The camping area is large, but the price felt too high for what was provided: 23 euros for two people with a small tent and motorcycle, compared with 9 euros for better facilities in Galicia. It gets very cold in August, so bring warm clothes. The showers were a bit dodgy, with a slippery floor and nowhere to steady yourself or put your clothes. The washroom still smelled of drains, just like last year.
