Casa Rural "Laplaza23"

La Plaza23 made us feel at home from the moment the owner greeted us. Everything was immaculate, from outside to inside, and every detail indoors felt carefully looked after, from the decor and cleanliness to the upkeep and location. The owner's kind, warm, and thoughtful service made our overnight stay on our trip through Extremadura unforgettable. Herrera del Duque must be proud to have such a special house and owner. We can't wait to return. Congratulations, and thank you so much. Come to Herrera del Duque, stay at La Plaza23, and leave with memories so lovely that you'll want to come back.

We'd booked for two nights, then stayed five, and only left because there were no rooms for the weekend. The place is beautiful, comfortable, and clean, a delight for the senses. Above all, the woman who runs it is a special, wonderful person who made us feel at home and looked after us the whole time. Her excellent breakfasts were fantastic and piping hot. Thank you so much!

Breakfast was spectacular, with their own olive oil, homemade honey, freshly cooked eggs, orange juice, and excellent local cured meats. The owner was exceptionally kind and attentive, both with recommendations and at breakfast. The accommodation is elegant, on Plaza de España, with tasteful decor, restored furniture, and floral arrangements. The rooms are clean and spacious, with en-suite bathrooms and comfortable mattresses. There are so few places like this left. Thank you.

Consoles is such a friendly, attentive lady, and the breakfast was really good too. This lovely country house is right in the center of the village, with super large, clean rooms.
