El Jardín del Convento

We found parking in the square without any trouble, and there's another car park just up the street if it's full. The hotel has a lovely garden, a terrace to sit on, and tremendous mountain views. Inside it's clean and full of original features. A very friendly man welcomed us, showed us around, and explained where everything was. Breakfast is €10 per person, but we haven't tried it yet. A really lovely hotel, and we'd happily return if we're this way again. Fabulous.

The room was comfortable, and breakfast was really good, with fresh coffee topped up at the table, fruit, preserves, cakes, meat, cheese, and more. From our first enquiry through checkout, everything was excellent. Amos communicated clearly in English, helped us get our bikes into secure storage after we parked, and showed us around the hotel and its facilities. The terrace over the gardens is lovely. Next time, we hope to arrive earlier and have a drink while the sun sets. Hope to be back next year.

At night, you can hear classical music in the garden and look up at the stars. The in-house breakfast is worth trying, with a special view of the garden. The staff were fantastic, and the owners shared useful local tips and walking routes, which made my stay. The place was spotless and very comfortable. It's a great village to explore on foot, well positioned for local attractions. In summer, the village pool costs €2 to enter.

Though it's in the town centre, it's very quiet around here. The hotel is cozy, with a well-kept garden where you can sit in the sun and read. Breakfast is homemade, with good quality ham and cheese, and the service is very attentive. I'd definitely stay again if we return to Herbás.
