The duplex in the former Relator Inn was pleasant and well located, and the bed was very comfortable. Still, for what we paid, the upkeep and a number of basic details fell short. There were only two mismatched wine glasses, and just three glasses in the whole place, which wasn't practical. The house was cold, and the two split units didn't feel like a good replacement for comfortable central heating. When we asked for a blanket for the sofa, we were told to use the one at the foot of the bed or switch on the units. The bathroom had no heating either. I can't imagine staying there in autumn or winter. The house has potential and some good points, but these details need more attention to match the price and guest expectations.
