We had a great time and will definitely come back. The locals are lovely, and the neighbors were always suggesting places to see and things to do nearby. The house is spacious and has everything you need, making it a good fit for family or friends. It's close to the countryside, in a charming village, and a great place to enjoy yourself. The owner is lovely too.

The village feels pretty lifeless, though the rural house itself is quite nice. The man who rents it lives next door and doesn't want any noise. He told us we'd left the chairs stacked up, but we'd only put them there so we could clean the floor.

It's a lovely house, but it doesn't really feel rural: it's right in the village, with houses on both sides, including the host's. So you can't make ANY noise on December 31st…
