Casa Rural Los Pinos

The only real bright spot was the person who welcomed us. They tried to get the heating on and brought us a large saucepan and a frying pan. Apart from that, our winter stay was awful, and I suspect the positive reviews were written in summer. The drains smelled foul throughout the apartment. It was 3°C outside, but we had to open the windows to clear the odor. There are three air conditioners set to heating, positioned to blow air straight at our faces while we slept. Sometimes it was lukewarm, sometimes cold, and we all got sick. The place is run-down, and the old sofa was dusty and clearly hadn’t been cleaned or disinfected between stays. The kitchen had only two tiny saucepans. It’s far from everything, 32 minutes from Seville, and very poor value for money.

We had a relaxing weekend getaway, and our pet was very happy in the house too. It’s a wonderful place to unwind surrounded by nature. Bernardo was attentive and answered all our questions, including suggesting places to eat nearby. Highly recommend it.

The bed was comfortable, thankfully, and the shower wasn’t very convenient to use. The house could work for a weekend, but I wouldn’t choose it for a longer stay. It’s missing basic kitchen equipment and somewhere to store groceries.

We were very happy with our stay in Hinojos. The country house is well placed among nature, just right for a few relaxing days. Bernardo was wonderful, and the house was spotless and had everything we could need.
