We loved exploring the rivers and the area around this little town, and had everything we needed to feel comfortable. Our dog loved staying here too, maybe even more than we did! The hosts made us feel very welcome with their personal hospitality. We can’t wait to come back. Perfect!

The house was spotless and had thoughtful little touches everywhere, including a welcome gift for us and our two dogs. Marga was incredibly kind and made sure to explain everything. My partner and I stayed in a house for two, and found the quiet surroundings lovely, with great walks and places to swim in summer. We’ll definitely be back!

House 4 had everything we needed for a perfect stay. We loved the town, with its walks, river pool, and beautiful natural surroundings. Las Hurdes is a delight for anyone who loves nature. Marga, the owner, deserves a special mention for helping us with everything. If you’re reading this to decide, I’d say go for it, you won’t regret it. And if you do, you won’t regret it.

Marga came by on our first day and gave us lots of tips on places to visit and restaurants for lunch or dinner. On our last day she even gave us vegetables from her garden, such a thoughtful gesture. We spent a few days in one of the houses and loved it all, from the beautiful views and well equipped accommodation to Marga herself. Thanks so much for everything, we’ll definitely be back!
