There were four of us, and along with our generous, good pilgrims' meals we got a full bottle of red wine. Service was quick and the staff were friendly when we ate here on the Camino in 2026. My son and daughter are learning Spanish, so we did our best to speak it, which I'm sure the staff appreciated. Look staff in the eye, smile, and say hola. That goes a long way.

Great location, but the staff were horrid. Nobody greeted me. They threw my keys and passport at me, then left me to find my own room. In the restaurant, nobody greeted me, said thank you, or tried to help. Yuck. This left me with a horrid memory of the town. This place should be removed from Booking.com and all the Camino guidebooks.

Stopped for a few tapas and beers and found them friendly, in my opinion. Some places are simply overwhelmed by the numbers of pilgrims, as the bad reviews show. It's hard to act warm toward 200 tourists a day who think the Camino is Disneyland. Smile, say buenas and por favor, and be patient and appreciative. In Spain, if you don't, people may see you as a little cold.

At 14E per bed, this is very good value. Each dorm has just four people, two bunk beds, and an attached bathroom. The bed linen is proper, the heating decent, and there's WiFi. I had tasty traditional food, cold beer in the evening, and hot coffee in the morning. What more could a pilgrim ask for? Recommended.

I had a wonderful meal and too many beers during my one-night stay. When I asked if I could get a lower bunk than the one I'd been assigned, the owner kindly moved me to her room, where I ended up by myself. The service was wonderful, and I'd gladly return. A Camino friend from Germany stayed here the night before and highly recommended it. He was right.
