I came by myself and had no problems at all. The hotel seemed like decent value, and the area felt fine to me in Spain, even though it might seem intimidating or sketchy by American standards. It looks like an industrial district, and there’s a gas station right across from the hotel. Parking was okay, but to get a spot out front you need to arrive before 11 PM. I can imagine a girlfriend or wife wanting a hotel somewhere else. If you’re traveling with guys, you may not care much, while families might be pickier about where they stay.

The hotel is in the “Fuenla” area, and it felt calm and pleasant for an affordable stay. It’s a fairly new, well-equipped three-star place, and the price for what you get is good. They also have a competitive package for visiting Madrid Warner Park.

The staff were very kind. It’s outside the city center, so to get downtown you need a taxi to the Renfe station, around 10 euros. From there, Renfe gets you to Atocha in Madrid in 25 minutes.

Everything was really clean, and breakfast was plentiful. The service was very friendly too. The location is a bit awkward, but I’ll definitely come back.
