Hotel Figueretes

The location is great, and the staff were amazing, but the price just isn’t justified. There’s no air conditioning in the rooms, so you’re boiling all night and can’t sleep in the heat. In 2025, that’s absolutely unacceptable at this nightly rate. The hotel could be great because of where it is, but as things stand, it isn’t worth the money.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and even pointed me toward some traditional restaurants and bars. I’d question the attitude of guests who’ve complained about the staff. The rooms are basic, but well equipped and spotless. Mine was tidied every day, and the bathroom had a shower, basin, toilet, bidet, plus soap dispensers in both the shower and by the handbasin. The downside is there’s no aircon.

The staff are friendly and helpful, and the promenade location is wonderful, just 10m from Figueretes beach. It’s a nice little hotel, but the rooms are basic, and without air conditioning they could be uncomfortable in summer. At around 25 degrees, it was fine. Ground floor rooms can be noisy inside, since they’re close to reception and the cleaning is loud early in the day. The corridor doors don’t block much sound either. Corner rooms are tight on space, so I’d avoid those. There weren’t many sockets in my room, and they were far from the beds, so bring a long extension cable for your phone or other devices.

Basic but really lovely, and the location is superb. We had room 212, which was a good size, with a very comfortable bed, excellent shower pressure, and a little balcony looking out over the beach. The hotel was clean and tidy throughout, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. It’s only rated one star and has no lift, though it’s just two storeys. There’s no WiFi in the room, but it’s available in the lobby. There’s no air conditioning either, though a good fan is provided. For us, it’s a GREAT little hotel.
