Ten Hostel

The location is central and good, and I slept comfortably. The room and bathroom were clean, but the bathroom is tiny and its sink was broken, dripping onto the floor. The safe didn't work either, perhaps because the batteries were dead, though I don't know. Picking up the key means going to reception 900m away, which isn't very practical. For what you get, especially with things broken, it's too expensive.

Housekeeping was fantastic and came every day. I had a quiet room for my five days, though I suppose that depends on who else is staying. The rooms are all small, around 12-15sqm, and the showers are tiny, but they were very good. There's free WiFi and a choice of rooms. This is a good option if you want to be central without paying for fancy signage, a foyer or a pool, about a five-minute walk from the Marina, local park and bus station. I found the "Nude Cafe" just around the corner on my penultimate day, and it was a real find for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Check-in was the one hassle: reception is about 1km away on foot. Apart from that, it was great. The rooms are private, and the place is pretty affordable. Not a bad place to stay!

The bathroom smelled, and you could hear everything other people were doing. This place needs a lot of maintenance. Truly the worst three nights of my life.
