This felt more like a cave than a holiday apartment. There is no natural light inside, and the professional photos on the website don't match what we found, they look like they were taken 20 years ago. The cooker felt unsafe and the kitchen was so poorly equipped that it seemed suitable only for instant noodles. The bed was uncomfortable too. The Wi-Fi repeater gave a weak signal in just one room, not strong enough for YouTube. The village itself is OK, but it's a long way from the apartment; the hill is extremely steep, and there's no pavement along the busy road, so you can't walk anywhere. There are no shops nearby, and cooking meals here wasn't really possible.

We stayed for about a week and paid a lot expecting a cozy apartment, but it was a really disappointing stay. There was a horrible smell, our clothes all felt damp, and the bed was impossible to sleep in, with no proper duvets and pillows that were no good. Ants were around, and a mouse ate our food and woke us in the middle of the night. It's just sad, they should invest more.

After a day trip to los Cristianos, I was especially glad we hadn't chosen a hotel in a tourist area. This place is a good fit for active people who enjoy hiking, nature, and a great forest view. The area is lovely and green, with lots of different hiking trails to explore. The apartment has some flaws, but they didn't bother me. If comfort, cleanliness, and modern facilities matter a lot to you, this probably isn't ideal. For me, it was a hidden gem.

Everything was perfectly clean, and it was the cleanest room I've ever stayed in. The room had a lovely atmosphere, and the kitchen was wonderful, with everything I needed to cook. I made myself a really tasty breakfast. The whole place felt very authentic.
