The garden, full of green plants, made us feel so good, and the terrace has a beautiful view, with the ocean on one side and El Teide on the other. We had a perfect stay at Finca Tabaiba. The sunsets were stunning, and I’d definitely recommend it for a holiday.

We spent our time in a quiet, authentic part of northern Tenerife, surrounded by banana, mango, avocado and wine plantations, with a beautiful ocean view. Finca Tabaiba has a main casa and five separate smaller houses, each with its own terrace and barbecue. The accommodation is well equipped and made it easy to relax and get away from city life and the daily routine. It’s a handy base for hikes and excursions to places like Anaga or Teide National Parks, and for visiting nearby villages such as Garachico and San Juan de la Rambla. Puerto de la Cruz is about a 20-minute drive away, and the bus service is convenient too. Anke and her family welcomed us warmly and gave us fresh fruit, water and wine. They were always glad to help and shared useful recommendations. I’d happily come back someday and recommend the place.
