I wanted somewhere relaxing away from the busier parts of the island, and this was a good fit. It’s peaceful, with gorgeous views, while shops and the tourist bustle of Puerto de La Cruz are still close enough to reach. The view of the iconic volcano 'El Teide' is one of the best on the island. James was attentive and checked that I had what I needed. My room was clean and cozy, and the modern decor made it comfortable too.

I’ve played some lovely golf courses nearby on my last visit, and I really like James’s idea of bringing together like-minded people at different stages of recovery. I’ve stayed here a few times now and can’t recommend it enough. James is an absolutely fantastic host, he really can’t do enough. It’s a stunning place, and I’m looking forward to coming back!

I’ve stayed here three times now, and the peaceful location keeps drawing me back. The rooftop is a wonderful spot to take in the ocean or look up at Mount Tiede, and the two lovely dogs, Angus and Nik, add to the relaxed feel. If you want to get away from the world, it’s a perfect place. The rooms are spacious enough, and the shared facilities are very well appointed. Gareth serves breakfast with everything you could need, and you can also get dinner for a remarkably small charge given the quality. Gareth is a fantastic chef. James, who owns the Casa, is friendly and accommodating and makes you feel welcome.

The location is ideal if you want a few quiet, relaxed days away from the crowded, messy south of the island. The terrace has wonderful views, with Mount tide behind and the sea in sight. Having breakfast up there feels like a dream. James made everything easy and comfortable, provided what I needed, and made me feel at home. I also have to mention how flexible and attentive he was: he responded very quickly and efficiently when I made a mistake with my booking.
