Finca la Gaviota Kaufmann had a pleasant atmosphere, and the staff were helpful. The service was commendable, although a few small things could be improved to make the experience fully exceptional. The quality for the price is satisfactory, so it’s a worthwhile option for travelers looking for comfort and value in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. I’d recommend it to friends and family.

The host was helpful, and the location and garden are nice, with a jacuzzi too. But the cockroaches made the kitchen disgusting, and we couldn’t use it. The bathrooms had old showers and black mold, and the whole place felt unclean. Some mattresses were old and stained. I’d suggest the host arrange a sanitary check. It could be a nice place after a proper clean and refresh, especially a much-needed bathroom renovation, but as it is, I wouldn’t advise booking it.

Roberto was so professional and kind that I felt completely at home, and by the end you might even find yourself becoming friends with him. I’ve never felt so welcome anywhere. Roberto, I miss you!!! Finca La Gaviota has everything you need for a great stay: a garden, parking, pool, jacuzzi, washing machine, a fully equipped kitchen, and a comfortable bed. It’s a great place with an amazing host.

The apartment was comfortable and cozy, with clean, practical, well-kept furniture rather than anything luxurious. There was fresh bedding, lots of towels, and everything we needed. WiFi was fast, and the TV had YouTube and possibly Disney+ or another service, though I can’t remember which. The area felt peaceful and safe, away from the bustle. We could leave the car in the private parking area without worrying about damage, but a car is essential because otherwise the steep hill makes trips long. The owner was very helpful, and we had a wonderful week. The jacuzzi is shared by a few cottages, but nobody used it in the evenings, so booking a two-hour slot was easy and more than enough. The water was pleasantly warm, and the stars were amazing from there. The pool was very clean and heated. It’s deep, which is a plus for a confident swimmer but worth knowing for others. The relaxation area overlooks the ocean, and the grill is for private use only. A great choice, and if you’re wondering whether to book, go for it. You won’t regret it.
