The only small downside for us was the narrow double bed. Otherwise, the accommodation was lovely, furnished with so much care and had everything we needed. We arrived to a generous gift basket, too. The setting in the Barranco de Guayadeche nature reserve felt quiet and safe. You can sometimes hear dogs barking, but it didn’t bother us. There’s air conditioning in the living room, and ceiling fans in both bedrooms. Rafael was a wonderful, attentive host. On Saturday he even brought us delicious fresh-baked rolls. Thank you for such a lovely stay!

I had a wonderful time here. The little holiday house has been restored and furnished with real care, and the owners were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. There are three terraces, two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a beautiful pool, all for your exclusive use.

We loved the island and the house, and we’ll definitely return. The rural home is charming, cozy, secluded, and peaceful, tucked into the mountainside, with everything we needed. Don Rafael welcomed us so warmly a week ago and shared thoughtful tips for places to see, villages, beaches, and restaurants. Every recommendation was spot on. He was always available whenever we had a question or request. On Saturday, his family surprised us with freshly baked bread, plus a little extra for our friend who loves bread. Today we tried the sweet, juicy grapes from the vines on their estate. The week has gone by far too quickly. Thank you for everything, Rafael.

Casa Oronado is a lovely place for a few quiet, restful days. It sits just outside a small town, only 10 minutes from the airport, and has every comfort and detail we could think of. Rafael was a charming, attentive host. He welcomed us with a bottle of wine on the house and checked in on us during the week. Since there were no bookings after ours, he let us stay until the afternoon on our final day. He also gave us grapes from the house vineyard, and they were absolutely delicious. 100% recommended.

We had Calima weather for about three days, with Saharan dust blowing across the Canary Islands, so the air was very poor and visibility badly reduced. Raphael even apologized, though it wasn’t his fault, and cleaned the pool for us right away. :-D The finca is beautiful, lovingly furnished, and very well maintained. The owner is so kind, always available, and happy to answer all our questions. He cares a lot about his guests feeling comfortable, and brought us delicious homemade rolls on Saturday morning. We’re absolutely thrilled and so grateful. We’ll treasure the memories of this dream holiday for a long time, and we’ll be back!
