The lizards all over the black stone wall were exciting to watch, so for us they were a feature, not a bug! The place is beautifully kept, with everything in order and lovely trees and cactuses. Pedro Manuel was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed. We were 11 and had loads of room, with some bedrooms left free. It worked perfectly for our group, especially for big evening barbecues in the separate hut with its big table. Families with children should enjoy the heated pool and all the space to run around. Just be aware you'll need a car to get around, as it's not very close to either Ingenio or Agüimes.

We spent 10 glorious days here with three friends, and the villa had everything we needed. It's a home from home, with six bedrooms that could sleep 14, so there was room for everyone, children included. There’s a TV in every bedroom, a games room with console games and a Wii, and music can play throughout the villa. Every room has a lovely bathroom, and the pool has its own bathroom and an outdoor shower. It's a stunning, very large place up in the mountains, so you'll need a car, though the owner knew a lovely taxi lady we could use.
