Hotel Urdanibia Park

We made a mistake during our stay, but the lovely receptionist helped sort it out with kindness and professionalism. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and breakfast was really tasty. The whole team was welcoming and friendly. We had a very pleasant visit and would happily recommend the hotel.

My husband asked me to write this, which is as rare as hen’s teeth! He was travelling from Almeria to the UK via Caen with a friend and his dog, and this hotel was roughly halfway. It was clean and spacious, welcomed dogs and had loads of parking. This review is especially for Jon Anders at reception. He was attentive, professional, warm and friendly, the right person for the job. The hotel should be proud to have someone like him. Well done, Jon. Glenn Fletcher stayed 5th November 2025.

Breakfast had a great range of hot and cold buffet food, and the coffee vending machine was a nice surprise, with good prices for a vending machine. Everyone I met on staff seemed genuinely happy. The bar was quiet, with two outdoor terraces. Adriano was on duty and couldn’t have been more helpful. I even ordered the wrong beer, and he swapped it without charging extra. It was easy to find just off the motorway, and parking was easy too. Jon at reception gave us great service and checked us in helpfully. Our room was lovely and clean. The view was mostly of trees over a main road, which gets noisy with the window open, but with it shut we couldn’t hear anything. Definitely recommend.

We spent two hours in the bar and restaurant having beer and wine before dinner. At about 7:45, with the restaurant opening at 8, we were told to move because our table was supposedly for three people, not two. We questioned it, but they insisted, so we moved and ate elsewhere in the restaurant. Then three tables marked for three people were occupied by pairs. The table we’d been made to leave was later taken by another pair too. I still don’t understand why we were moved. We probably spent more than anyone else there, but were treated like scum. I’ve never been treated so badly. The service was awful, and they clearly don’t know how to treat customers. Avoid this place.
