Suites Mendibil Irun

Romy made us feel at home in Irun, explaining everything we needed for the stay and getting around. The sofa bed was so comfortable I slept like a baby, and the whole place was beautiful and clean. We felt welcome right away. If I’d known how lovely it would be, I’d have stayed longer! ❤️❤️❤️

We only had one night here, which felt far too short for such a lovely apartment. It’s spacious, clean, and full of thoughtful details, with a shared kitchen too. Romy and her husband were so welcoming and helpful. Before we even arrived by train, she explained how to get there from Hendaye and booked us a nice restaurant.

The shared kitchen was well equipped, and we really enjoyed breakfast. Romy and Jesús were such warm hosts that we wished they could come along on our travels. Romy speaks several languages and gave us useful information about the area. Suites Mendibil is in a quiet neighborhood, though downtown Irun is just a two minute walk away. Our suite had a comfortable living room, a large bedroom with a wonderfully comfortable bed and quality linens, and a spotless modern bathroom. Everything was thoughtfully designed and very well maintained. Better than five stars!

They had every little thing ready for our dog and three month old baby: a crib with a stuffed animal, baby bath and soap, plus dog bowls and a bed. We were really impressed by how thoughtful that was. The suite was comfortable and close to plenty of shops, and the hosts were lovely and helped us with everything they could. We had an excellent stay and will definitely come back.
