Estival Islantilla

I was unsure about all-inclusive after being disappointed by the only other one I'd tried, also in Spain, but this hotel surpassed what I expected. There's plenty on site, from evening entertainment and several bars to the arcade, lovely pools, and spa. Walk through the gates and you're at the beach. The buffet was delicious, with something for everyone, even picky eaters like me. The cocktails were lovely too, and our room was clean and stocked with towels and toilet rolls. The spa was the one letdown. I didn't get the full 50 minutes for my massage. We also paid €15 each to use the indoor pool and another €3 each for caps, but the pool was cold and it felt like a waste of money. That's our only complaint. The rest of the resort was beautiful and peaceful.

The food and pools are the best parts for me. The food is high quality with lots of variety, and the staff were nice and always helpful. I first stayed here in 2016, when it belonged to TUI, and came back in 2025. The rooms looked exactly the same, with obvious signs of wear, although they were still clean and comfortable. It's a family hotel, so expect crowds of children and some noise.

I had a lovely birthday surprise when we got back to the room after our tour: the staff had left a personal note, a bottle of Cava, and a gift-wrapped fruit and chocolate treat. My 11-year-old son and I stayed for four nights, from 25th to 29th October 2025, and celebrated my birthday in beautiful Seville. The staff were lovely, the entertainment was five-star, and the food was delicious with so much variety. A perfect stay for us.

It was peaceful and quiet, with no bothersome noise, and the beach is an easy walk away. The hotel was very clean, the food excellent, and the staff consistently kind. We'd definitely recommend it and hope to come back.
