On Family Islantilla

Set right by the beach, the hotel sits behind a small pine forest. It's spacious, modern and full of natural light; the rooms are clean and roomy, with very comfortable beds. Prices change with the season, but it's not too expensive.

The rooms are modern, with a fridge, stove and microwave, but no oven. There are two TVs and, strangely, only one remote. Still, the place felt soulless, and I've stayed at Holiday Inns and similar places for less money. It's very hard to find. They offer two room types, one street-facing and one with a forest view, which costs €20 extra per night. I paid to upgrade but got the street-view room. Reception acted as if there weren't two room types when I asked, and couldn't explain the price difference. If you do find the place and park in the underground garage, be aware it's extremely tight. It supposedly holds 12 cars, but I don't see how they'd fit that many.

Beautiful, reasonably priced, and just right for a quiet, relaxing holiday. You can see the beach from the room and breathe in the fresh air from the trees.

It's a small, pleasant hotel beside a really beautiful beach. There's a small pool inside the hotel, and the way to the seaside from Vime takes you through a little forest.
