The area is calm and nice for walking by the sea, with two good supermarkets nearby and a small shopping mall. It feels well suited to families. The hotel was a very good place to rest, with professional, kind staff and very good cleaning throughout the hotel and bedrooms. The pool was clean too. Daily and evening activities can be fun, and the magician Romer was great. Breakfast was very good in quality, quantity and variety, with excellent service. There could be more sun loungers and shade. The spa circuit costs 20€ per person per hour and isn't included, which is the only real downside; I pay close attention when booking hotels and don't recall seeing that mentioned. Parking is somewhat difficult, with different zones and ticket prices, plus lots of broken meters.

Dinner was good, but breakfast disappointed me. The hotel is pretty dated, with loose pool tiles and an old shower in the room. Kids weren't allowed in the indoor pool without a hair cap. The entertainment was terrible and only in Spanish, and there wasn't anything to do nearby. We won't be back.

I came back to Puerto Antilla Grand Hotel recently after more than ten years away, having stayed there several times before, and had another very pleasant visit. The welcoming, relaxing atmosphere is still there, and the staff were friendly. The all-inclusive buffet was excellent, with plenty of high-quality choices. Breakfast stood out for its freshness and variety. One small thing to improve: many plants in the flower beds on the room balconies looked dry or were missing, which took away a little from an otherwise well-kept setting. I'd definitely consider returning.

The parking around the hotel was excellent, and the restaurant had a wide choice of food. We had a nice holiday here, and it felt like a safe place to stay with the kids.

Food, location and staff were all great, but the rooms are very old for what we're paying. There was constant crying and screaming from children everywhere, morning till night, and it really ruined the stay. If you want a quiet place to relax and read, don't go here. For families looking for fun together, it's the right place.
