The dorms could use heating, and a small kitchen corner for pilgrims would be helpful. Still, the rooms were remarkably clean, the beds had good-quality linens, and the showers were hot. The hospitalieros were kind and helpful, and the bar and restaurant were cool. A pretty good place to sleep on the Camino.

The food was tasty, with generous portions, and the hosts made us feel very welcome. Great place. I’d recommend it to anyone walking El Camino Francés.

There isn’t much to do nearby, but the Albergue was full of good company and the host kept us entertained. They really love the Camino and have plenty of character. We stayed in a private room, so I can’t speak to the dormitories. The pilgrim meal was delicious and generous, and the stamp was so cool.

The best part was dinner: for €15, I had a generous seafood paella with shrimp, mussels, and other fresh seafood, plus a nice white wine and delicious salad. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hot shower felt perfect after a long day on the Camino. Paulina and her team deserve big compliments. Fantastic stay at this hostel, run by the super friendly Paulina. Highly recommend it, one of the best albergues on the Camino.

The people running this place are the reason I’d come back. They were warm, funny, generous with their time and smiles, and made me feel seen, welcome, and human when I arrived dusty, sore, and a little spiritually cracked. That kind of Camino kindness reminded me why I was dragging my blistered feet across Spain. The dorms were the hard part. The mattresses felt like stiff box springs, the bunks were packed so tightly there was barely room to breathe or sit up, and the ventilation was poor. By sunrise it felt like a sweat lodge. There were barely enough bathrooms for the crowd, they badly needed updating, and one hook in each bathroom wasn’t enough. The bar had good food and even better vibes, and the wax seal stamp was a cool touch. Dinner was satisfying, honest food rather than anything fancy, served in a room buzzing with tired stories and new friendships. I ended up talking with someone from Korea about their childhood dog. The veranda and terrace offered a break from the noise inside. Laundry service was pricey but got the job done, and the Wi-Fi was a gamble unless I was right by the bar. The place has charm, but the beds and facilities could use some investment and care. The hosts carry the Camino spirit, and it’s hard work. With improvements to the infrastructure, this albergue could go from just getting by to becoming one of the greats.
