The quiet countryside and those wildflowers in bloom at the end of April made us want to stay longer, so we extended our visit. And Maria Jesus is a fantastic cook! At Hostal Huartearena, we felt like part of the family thanks to such kind, welcoming hosts. The rooms were clean and the service was perfect. I’d recommend it to anyone passing through Pamplona, and if you can, stay here instead of in the city. 🥰

The place is remarkably quiet. The loudest thing I heard was my own breathing. There’s a gorgeous view over the area just a few meters away, and the hotel isn’t too far from the city. Our hosts were friendly, the rooms were spacious and very clean, and the bedroom was super comfortable. The food was delicious, and the Wi-Fi worked.

Breakfast is worth making room for, along with the warm cookies M.Jesús makes. We also enjoyed the lunch and dinner, with vegetables and eggs from the house. M.Jesús and Boni put care into the little details, and made the stay feel homey. The rooms were comfortable and super clean, and the house has lovely traditional touches in its decor. We had a wonderful time at Huartearena.

We’ve been coming back regularly for over 10 years, and María Jesús and Boni always make things feel easy. They’re wonderful, welcoming people who make you feel right at home. Everything is spotless and they’re attentive throughout. I’d give them a perfect score, but that isn’t possible. Thank you!
