Iberostar Waves Gaviotas Park -All Inclusive

We’re a Dutch couple with two kids and spent Christmas and New Year here. We’ve had many holidays with Iberostar in other countries and cities, and loved this one too. The customer service deserves a special mention. From arrival to departure, we felt so well looked after. Jessica, who handles customer relations, does a fantastic job. The food was absolutely delicious, even better than at the five-star hotels we often stay in. Our room was roomy and comfortable, right beside the pool. The pool was clean and wonderful, and the kids loved the slides and bouncy castles. Another fantastic Iberostar experience, and there’ll be more to come.

The buffet was excellent, with plenty of variety and dishes changing often, from Chinese-style food and BBQ to local and Spanish cuisine. The pool area was lovely, and it’s an easy, short walk to the amazing beach. The reception staff gave amazing service, and there’s even a doctor’s office on campus! This is a perfect hotel for families with kids. The animation team is hard to compare with anywhere else, and the people come from different parts of Europe. Staff who aren’t German or English speakers communicate quite well in both languages, so getting by is easy. The programme is well organized and enjoyable. I highly recommend the hotel.

There’s plenty for children to do, and everything is very clean. The staff are friendly, and I love the resort. My one suggestion is that the restaurant employees could clear old plates from the buffet tables more often. That’s really my only point to improve. Everything else is very, very nice and excellent!

Our holiday at Iberostar Waves Playa Park was fantastic, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. A special thank you to Franzi, whose warm and welcoming manner made the stay more memorable. The rooms are modern and well equipped, the food delicious and varied, and the location is ideal, central and close to the beach. There are just a few small things to improve. Two gym machines were out of order for our whole stay, so more regular maintenance would help. It would also be good if children couldn’t wander freely into the gym, since it isn’t a playground. The pool lifeguards do their job, but can be a bit too strict when children are playing normally. A more relaxed approach would make it easier for families. Some rooms can also get quite noisy from early deliveries or evening entertainment. If you want peace and quiet, it’s better to book a room facing outward, even if that means giving up the sea view. Thanks to the whole team. We’d definitely come back.
