The staff were friendly, and it was nice how welcoming they were to pets. As a one-night stop, the hotel itself felt standard for a four-star place. The restaurant, though, was extremely overpriced. Maybe its Michelin Guide listing is why they think the prices are justified. We paid €170 for a small plate of Jamon, three mains, three desserts, a small dessert wine at €10, and a bottle of wine. The secreto ibérico was very dry, probably the worst I’ve had in Spain. I discreetly told the waitress that there was a hair in my Solomillo. They replaced it with what looked like a smaller portion of the same dish, as if they’d just removed the bit with the hair. It also tasted as though it had been cooked in fish oil. We ate everything because we were hungry, but I’d suggest looking elsewhere for food priced more appropriately for its quality.
