La Posada de los Sentidos

Dunia and Ferrán were lovely hosts, ready to help and full of great recommendations. The house itself is set in a peaceful, idyllic area that’s not especially well known, with vineyards and olive groves around it. The rooms are charming and have private bathrooms, and the kitchen has everything you need to cook local food. We had a wonderful weekend gathering with friends, and the barbecue made it even better.

The living room is right by the entrance and next to the wine cellar, so it can feel cold there in autumn and winter. Otherwise, it’s a charming house in the middle of the village, with five bedrooms. The attic room is up a steep set of stairs, so it’s only suitable if you’re in good physical shape.

My son had a great time, and we’d love to come back. The house is spacious, with lovely shared areas and enough privacy in each room. We had comfortable beds, a saltwater pool, mountain views, and a quiet setting with a place to sunbathe. There’s a fireplace, air conditioning, and fans too. The owner was very friendly and kept checking that we had everything we needed.

We had such a good time at the end of the year, and the climate control worked really well. The house is a great base for exploring La Vera, with a fully equipped kitchen and rooms that are all different, each with its own charm. It’s a spectacular place for a get-together with several families.
