The staff and service were great, and it’s a handy stop just off the motorway. The food was good and reasonably priced. The towels were clean, but worn out and barely absorbed any water, so they really need replacing.

The food is really good and fairly priced. Showers are simple and clean, and cost nothing if you have dinner at 9 pm, otherwise they’re €2.40. It’s a quiet, decent truck stop, with a lit parking area across from the Hostal for regular trucks all night. Frigo trucks have to park next to the Hostal.

The atmosphere was great, and the service was five stars. The barman was a really nice guy, and I’ll definitely come back. Don’t forget to leave him a tip, he really deserves it. I recommend the place with all my heart.

The Sunday lunch crowd was mostly local families and friends, not the truckers I’d expected, and the meal was tasty and great value. They also offer a good value menu for pilgrims. I’m walking the Via de la Plata and was given a reduced pilgrim rate. The reception and restaurant staff were very friendly. My room had been modernized, with good hot water and AC heating that was enough to dry my wet clothes. Strongly recommended.

The staff were very friendly, and breakfast was great. It’s a perfect place to split up a long stretch on the Camino de la plata. The rooms have been renovated and are in great shape, and the food is good too.
