The service isn’t friendly and the beds are cheap, though the location is worth the decent price. I’ve stayed twice, but don’t particularly like the place. I only keep choosing it because there aren’t better local options.

The room was spacious and clean, and Manolo gave excellent service. He let us keep our food in the refrigerator so we could have dinner on our terrace. The hostel is perfectly placed for visiting Jávea’s most beautiful beaches. The one thing I’d suggest is providing more shower toiletries and some hand soap, as neither was available. Still, I’d definitely book again if we return to Jávea.

We had a very good stay at Balcón al Mar hostel during our two days in Jávea, and will definitely return. The rooms were very clean, had what we needed, and we slept well and peacefully. Manolo, the owner, helps with everything, so you won’t be left wanting. The hostel is near the coves and about 15 minutes from the local area, with restaurants, supermarkets and bars close by. Our only complaint was the lack of a pool. Otherwise, we were very happy. Thanks, Manolo, we’ll be back 🙂

Manolo, the owner, is attentive to every detail and goes out of his way to make the stay pleasant. Parking is easy to find, and the place is close to the coves of Jávea and ten minutes from the main beach. The rooms are large, with terraces, renovated bathrooms and very comfortable beds. Everything was clean, and there’s free Wi-Fi. It’s a good, quiet and affordable place. This was our first visit and we’ll certainly come back.
