We spent one night here in December for a little getaway and really enjoyed it. We were offered a top floor room for just €20 extra, and I'm glad we took it because the view over the little bay was fabulous. Dinner was superb. I especially recommend the calamari and duck paella, and my date cake was a lovely way to finish the meal. The service throughout was friendly and efficient. Winter's a much better time to visit than summer if you'd rather avoid the crowds.

The room was great, with a superb view of Arenal and a very comfortable bed. The internet connected to my phone but not my notebook, and breakfast was nothing special. Even so, it's without doubt the best hotel in Javea.

The location and views are excellent, and the gardens are lovely. Reception were friendly when we checked in, but the double bed we'd booked wasn't available, so we ended up with two singles pushed together. The room was clean, though the whole place felt a bit dated and old. Breakfast was very nice, but it was buffet style only. The other guests seemed older, and the atmosphere had a bit of a retirement home feel. We liked the quiet, so that wasn't a bad thing for us, but it may not suit you if you're after somewhere lively. Fine for a single night's stay.

The views make this terrace a lovely spot for a quiet drink. We stopped in for beer and wine and really enjoyed the setting.

The breakfast buffet has become really basic. It used to be a great experience even when you weren't staying there. Now it's just an omelette, some pastries and sliced cheese. Very sad.
