DISORGANISED! EXPENSIVE! CHAOS! Before we arrived, the hotel sent no message saying there would be no person at reception or anywhere on the property. At the gate, we saw a key lock on the fence, but no entry code had been sent ahead of time. They advertised reception until 23:59, yet there was no staff anywhere during the supposed check-in hours. We had to call to find out how to get in. The woman on the phone told me to wait, then hung up. After that, she messaged me on booking.com asking me to WhatsApp her so she could send the entry code. This is so disorganised. Most self check-in hotels would send the code and clear instructions after booking, well before arrival. She eventually sent the code, but gave us the wrong room number. We finally got into room Number 3, where the sink didn’t work. I called her and was told nobody was there to check it, so we should move ourselves to room #2. In that room the safe had no batteries, and there was only 1 sheet on the bed, with no douvets for the cold early April night. We called again and were told someone would bring batteries for the safe "TOMORROW morning". What a joke, since we were only staying 1 night and needed the safe for our valuables while we went out that evening. With nobody working there, there was no security at this hotel whatsoever. How would batteries the next morning help? As for the bedding, we found 2 single douvets in the cupboard, but the bedsheets were double, and we needed 1 more sheet to cover the dirty douvet. She told us to take the sheet from the bed in room #3. I wasn’t surprised to be told to serve ourselves again. The bathroom’s a joke, like something you’d find in a Caravan! This hotel is supposed to be 3 star and charges €160 a night in low season, yet all we got was chaos, with no staff around to secure the place during their stated check-in hours. Can someone tell me if they deserve the star rating or the money?
