The location made it easy to explore on foot, with the cathedral and Alcazar nearby. I also liked the quiet park around the Alcazar, a nice break from the busy streets. There was a handy Carrefour express just around the corner with food and toiletries. I visited in December, when people were out singing and enjoying the festivities, and the Christmas tree in the nearby plaza looked beautiful. At the hotel, the room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the shower had good pressure. The kitchenette had all the utensils I needed for simple meals. Staff were friendly and quick to help. It was a lovely break, and I'd like to return in summer to try the rooftop pool.

I wouldn't recommend this place. There was black mold in the bathroom, which is a serious health concern. I asked at the front desk to move rooms, but they refused. As a first-time tourist, I found that extremely disappointing and unacceptable. I'd steer clear, especially if cleanliness and guest safety matter to you.

The rooftop is pleasant, although the pool isn't heated. The appliances are good quality, but the bed and pillows have no protectors. It's a good place to stay while visiting Jerez, with everything within walking distance.

The room was very spacious, though the shower floor in the bathroom looked a bit disappointing. Staff were friendly, but reception isn't always staffed, so keep that in mind when booking. The door bouncer kept riffraff from going too far, was always courteous, and seemed good at recognizing guests. Getting into my room took about ten attempts. I couldn't tell whether the lock was broken, temperamental, or I was doing something wrong. With nobody at reception, that left me anxious. The location couldn't be better, and the taxi rank right outside made the €15-20 trip to Jerez airport easy. The rooftop has a bar and pool, with good views. The bar gets busy at night and could be heard in the rooms a little, but not too much. Breakfast was good, though next time I might eat in Jerez instead.
