Casa Rural la Zafrilla

It’s a very quiet spot, about a five-minute drive from the town center, and ideal for birdwatching. The owners are friendly and attentive, making sure you have what you need. The house has four bedrooms, three doubles and one single, plus two full bathrooms. In the kitchen there’s a coffee maker, toaster, and microwave, and there’s also a covered porch with a table.

The house is clean, the furnishings and facilities are fine, and the owners are lovely and attentive. Still, I was a little disappointed to find an irrigation pond rather than a swimming pool, though we had a great time anyway. It’s a rural country house in a working-class area. August was unbearably hot there, even though I lived in southern Spain for many years, so I’d suggest visiting when the weather is cooler.

There was barely any signal in the house, so the lack of Wi-Fi is the one thing I’d improve. Otherwise, the home was in excellent condition and very clean, and we had no issues as a group of six friends. The owners and their dogs were very friendly, and the pool was cleaned every day. It’s a great choice if you want peace and quiet in nature. We’ll definitely return. Thanks, Paqui and Antonio.
