The night sky is spectacular here, with peace and quiet and no light pollution. Breakfast was plentiful, tasty, and top quality, and John and Marie are great hosts. A lovely B&B in the middle of nowhere, with a great swimming pool.

It's quite remote, and this is a basic B&B, but the owners are friendly. The access road is difficult and gets very muddy in the rain. The landscape makes up for it.

Mas de Conill was a disaster from start to finish. It isn't really a hotel, but a private home turned into one. The room was dirty, the bathroom shared, and I lost the hot water halfway through my shower. There was no Wi-Fi signal at all. It's in the middle of nowhere, with no place nearby to get dinner. It may look closer to Jijona, but the unpaved road makes the drive take just as long as going down to Alicante. I sincerely hope I never have to go back to that dump.

We had a few unforgettable, enjoyable days with John and Maria, the owners. It's a perfect place to spend a few days relaxing in peace. Each room has its own private terrace, and there's also a shared barbecue, wine cellar, refrigerator, and pool.
