Residencial Marina De Port

The apartment was great value for money, and it was very clean when we arrived. We loved the view from our room. The beds were comfortable, although they looked a little budget compared with the other facilities. Each room had A/C, and there were electric blinds, a dishwasher, washing machine and fridge/freezer.

The port views were lovely, but the apartment was only okay. There were lots of stairs, and basic supplies like toilet paper and dishwashing items were very limited. Brooms and mops sat by the entrance with nowhere set aside to store them. They provided blankets instead of duvets. The apartment felt unfriendly, untidy and not really prepared for guests, as if the aim was simply to provide somewhere to stay.

The facilities, access and views are fantastic, but the apartment is missing a lot of useful things. There was no hairdryer or iron, and no towel racks or hooks in the bathrooms. It’s a duplex with stairs up to the bedrooms and even into the living room. I can’t give it five stars because of those missing items, the many mosquitoes inside, and a nearby area by the beach with some sort of problem, perhaps a one-off, that causes an unbearable, unpleasant smell of fecal matter.
