The garden was a highlight, with sea views and a calm feel whether we were by the pool or stretched out on the loungers. The house itself is lovely and well cared for, and the beds and sofas were comfortable. The weak Wi-Fi was frustrating. Even near the router, browsing was difficult. The air conditioners are in the hallways, which isn't ideal; they’d work better in the individual rooms, or there should at least be strong ceiling fans for the really hot part of summer.

We felt at home here, and it worked really well for a big group. The house is spacious, with a lovely outdoor area, pool, barbecue and comfortable hammocks. The owner welcomed us and was a very nice, attentive guy.

The house is really nice. My only gripe so far is that there’s no central heating, just a heat pump.
