The owners are very friendly and attentive, and gave us plenty of information about the area, places to visit and more. The house is well equipped and maintained, with more than enough room for four. It’s the ground floor of the house, with the owners living upstairs. Guests have private use of the small backyard pool, and there’s also a front patio with a barbecue. The pool may feel small for four people, though. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, but supermarket customers create a lot of foot traffic as they enter the parking lot across the street. That lot is handy for keeping the car in the shade during the day, and the supermarket stays open until 10 pm, which is convenient if you need anything. The old town and a couple of beaches are about a 15-minute walk away. The Empúries ruins, beautiful Sant Martí d'Empúries and more beaches take about 20-25 minutes on foot along the coastal path. We stayed for 10 days and were very comfortable.
