The owners give you a warm welcome, and breakfast is generous. The hotel is comfortable and clean, with good restaurants nearby and some lovely beaches not too far away. A few of the fittings seem dated, but it’s still very good value.

Parking was a big plus, and the location works really well for shops, beaches, and walks along the coast in either direction. It’s a no-frills place, but clean and just right for what we needed, with really friendly, helpful people and good breakfasts. The only downside was late-night noise from people having fun in the street when a window was open.

The family-run hotel had the modern fixtures and fittings we wanted, and parking was available. Its spot by the central bus stop and the old town was just right for us. Cross the road and you’re in the old town’s narrow streets, with the bar open late enough and cafes only a couple of minutes away.

The rooms are clean, but the breakfast buffet was very poor and had few options. For a small hotel, I found the price expensive.
