The furnishings were poor, and some items had to be replaced while we were there. The house was in bad shape and had only been cleaned superficially. The photos are old and don’t show what the place is like now. Unfortunately, it was a poor stay.

Easter-22nd; the area is quiet and the location is good. The house layout is acceptable, but upkeep is very poor. The bathrooms and bedrooms were dirty, there was water left in the laundry room and boiler area from a leaking water heater, and some stair tiles were cracked. Two of the four stove burners were clogged, the wooden kitchen door was out of place, and the entrance door only locks. The check-in time of 4 pm and check-out at 10 am make the stay feel wasted. The website photos are outdated and show a better condition than the house is actually in.

The owner is very professional, and the location on the Costa Brava is excellent: quiet, well connected and close to the sea. There are lots of bedrooms, a pool, an outbuilding, and a barbecue, plus lights for the garden and pool at night. One small thing to remember is to ask about cleaning and chlorinating the pool, since they sometimes forget. I highly recommend it.
