It’s a short trip to the airport, about 20 minutes, and while the hotel is outside the center, we could get around with two metros. The room was comfortable and clean, and breakfast was just okay. We knew about the location beforehand, and it was convenient enough for us. Our main complaints were the water and AC. There was no bottled water in the room, and the breakfast water was tap water, supposedly safe to drink in Barcelona, but with a strong, unpleasant taste. Bottled water in the lobby cost about seven times the actual price. The AC couldn’t be adjusted above 24 degrees, and even at the lowest fan setting, the room got really cold after just 10 minutes. We had to switch it off at night and sleep in the heat without air, since the windows couldn’t be opened. Apart from that, we had no issues, so I’d still recommend it for a short stay.

We liked our stay so much that we booked another night here for the return trip to the airport. The Hampton by Hilton Bercelona Fira Gran Via has very friendly staff, and the service and amenities were perfect during our five nights. It’s conveniently on Metro L9 between the airport and downtown, with easy access to the metro. Breakfast had lots of options each morning. Thanks to all the great staff.

The front desk team gave us a warm welcome and were helpful when we arrived. We came after a late afternoon arrival and stayed over before our flight home the next morning. The location was fantastic for metro trips to and from the airport, as well as downtown. Our room was clean and comfortable, a little small but just right for a quick layover. Breakfast was well organized and had plenty of options.

We were lucky to find this hotel on our recent Barcelona visit. The Fira, barcelona area felt very quiet and safe, and the hotel itself was top notch. It’s a three-minute walk to L9sud metro, with great connections to the city and airport, and the bus stop is four minutes away on foot. Room service was really good, and breakfast was decent. We especially liked making our own waffles. Highly recommend, 10/10.

Those two women at the front desk made a hard day in Barcelona much better. Something upsetting happened to my mom and me on the way from the airport, and when we arrived to check in, they were kind and offered support. I didn't catch their names, but I'm really grateful. We stayed from the 27th to the 29th.
