La Casa Del Burro

There are quite a few stairs, so with little children, like ours, you need to keep a close eye on them. The house is spread across several floors, which is typical of La Alberca's architecture: kitchen and small toilet downstairs, then a bedroom and bathroom on each of the next two floors, with a children's room in the attic above. We were there in February and it was very cold outside, but the heating kept things comfortable. Everything was new and in excellent condition, and the lovely owners were always available. It's very well placed in the village, and we'd happily return.

Right in the center of La Alberca, with a bathroom on every floor and a TV in each room. The house was spotless and had all the comforts, and the hosts were great. We did get a bit hot during the heat wave, though they told us that kind of temperature isn't usual there. Recommended.

The owners were really nice, and the place was clean. It's a charming house, decorated throughout in wood.

Right beside the church in the heart of the village, this is a great base for visiting La Alberca and nearby places. The house has been restored well and is equipped with the appliances and kitchen utensils you need. The owners can point you toward places to visit and eat, helping you make the most of the area. A lovely choice for a few peaceful, restful days.
